Since steals started being recorded in the 1973-74 NBA season, there have been 17 games in which a player had 10 steals or more. One of those games belonged to Michael Finley on this date in 2001. He actually had 27-6-7-10 in that game in a loss to the eventual Eastern Conference champion 76ers.

That's really impressive. Im pretty surprised there's even been 17 players to record ten steals in a game.

That's so many

Hhmm, wonder how if any of those 17 were triple doubles. Also for some reason it made me think how many(if any) quadruple doubles there have been.

Pretty crazy stat, never would of guessed Finley was one of those players as he wasn't known for that.

Dang Finley wasn't that far off from a quadruple double himself that game.

I wonder how many of those steals came from directly stealing it from the opposing player or playing the passing lanes. I'd guess passing lanes because I don't remember Finley being any sort of good defensive player.
