By now, everybody pretty much accepts the Bulls will tag Williams No. 2 in the draft. OK, then why are the Clippers, who openly covet the Duke of Durham, trying to move up to No. 4 by offering Nos. 8 & 12? Do they have designs on someone else at the slot, or have they been told, if you get that high we'll flip flop No. 2 for No. 4 in exchange for Lamar Odom, or Darius Miles, or Quentin Richardson?

Concluding my thoughts on Chicago, before next season is half completed, it'll dawn on most of us that Jerry Krause might've known what he was doing by trading Elton Brand for Tyson Chandler..

I can see it both ways,,,,

The Clips are loaded with talent at every position but the point,,,

They are all ready struggling to find time for all of their talent, developing 2 more draft picks would be very difficult to say the least.

With the 4th pick they could focus on one guy and work a superior prospect into their deep line up.

The Grizz on the other hand have need another swing player and a banger who can play some 5.

An ideal draft for the Grizz would be a combination like Butler/Bouchard or perhaps Nellie/Jefries, that would fill both needs.

Therefore, IMO this deal makes sense either on it's own or in a 3 way with the Bulls.
