"Barry had not only the best chance of getting the record, but blowing the record way out, setting it in the 20,000-mark area," Smith said in the past.

I really didn't like the way he retired, but all is forgiven now... Great, Great player and person!

Barry had a chance to win a ring. The Lions had pretty good players on their teams in the 90's.

Barry was the best running back I have ever seen play. He could make anyone miss. I know it has been said before, but could you imagine what he would of done if he had the same line Emmit Smith had in Dallas.

I remember how he used to bust it down the field spinning off defenders. Barry is the man, and I'd bet he would still be marching strong todayif he were still playing.
