It wasn't really a blowout. It just looked that way because the Clippers kind of gave up in the last minute and a half.

RJ played that much a few times this season.
So back then Wilt averaged 48 minutes in a season.
Maybe Kobe asked Phil to keep him in the game b/c he wanted to extend his record (previously owned by Baylor) of most 40 pt. games in a season but didn't manage to get it. If that was the case it's not that different w/ Frank leaving Kidd in the game to get a triple double. They're both trying to make history. I hope Kobe gets a season ending injury the next time Phil decides to pull something like that so he learns a lesson. I wonder if Phil was like that w/ Jordan.
Lol they were only up 9 with 2 minutes left. The Lakers have lost 8 games this year where they have had a lead in the final minute including a couple that were double digit leads.
I watched every bit of this game, Kobe Bryant has become one of the best shooters in the NBA. His game right now is almost all about jump shots, he rarely drives any more. The amazing part is that he rarely misses those tough fadeaways.

He probably has the best midrange game in the league. Refs arent giving him the benefit of the calls anymore well not as much as they used to. So now he has to rely on the midrange shot, and luckily for the lakers its been working very well.
