Would he be good for the Nets?
Would he be good for the Nets?
That's why I bring it up. The Nets might always trade up.7M3 said:
Yes he would, and with that speed on the break and being able to get into the lane he would definitly be a + instead of a -....Oh yeah did I mention he plays "DEFENSE"....Something I'm sure Coach Frank would love to have on the court even with his erractic jump shot............Just think of him as JKidd with more Athleticism.Net2 said:
Would the Nets consider trading up to draft Rondo and see if they can find a sleeper PF in the second round? The Nets have many needs, but if Ilic comes next season, I doubt if the Nets keep 4 rookies on the roster. So they will likely try to trade up. A quick PG who can defend will be an important addition to the team.ghoti said:The Nets have too many needs to trade two picks to get Rondo.
That said, they don't seem to want anything to do with paying two first rounders, so getting a guy in Rondo's range (11-20) is a real possibility.
Another guy with a lot of potential and a great NBA body.
Frank would play him because of his defense and he would combine with Wright to make a formidable defensive combo.
Guards who shoot like him better pass, dribble, and rebound like Kidd, because otherwise they have trouble getting starter minutes.
An interesting and unique player, but he's a bit risky for a team that needs a pure point and an active big man.
I can see the Rockets drafting a PG. The Raptors have said they want to trade their pick, so who knows? Like I said before, Ilic is going to be an important part of the equation. If he comes, they might either trade up, or stash another Euro with the second round pick.Chaser 55 said:I say keep the two picks. If we trade them for a higher pick, and he's taken, we just screwed ourselves. Better off keeping both picks and seeing who's there when it's our turn.
