Stoudemire to have knee surgery

If you guys think it was bad for Zach to have knee surgery, who never used his athleticism anyway, I real bad for Amare Stoudemire. This guy's athleticism was the main reason he was so good. Now he has two bad knee's, and it gonna have surgery on the other knee. This makes Z-bo's recover amazing, that he hasn't had much problems with the knee this season other then pain here and there. Watch and see how an injury can change a player and the way they play. I don't think Amare will ever be the same.

I bet Amare's really glad he came back for that meaningless game against us instead of working on his recovery. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

That's to bad. Hopefully he'll come back fully recovered.
Seen this happen a few times before. A player gets knee surgery, and then comes back too early and ends up relying on the other knee too much. Not good.
sounds like it's not as serious of an operation as the first one, but this is why you don't rush things Phoenix.

If he or his agent had ANY brains, they'd not have him play competitive basketball again till training camp.
That's too bad. I agree that he'll probably never be as explosive as he was before... What a shame.
bet he wishes he wouldnt of came back and put the beat down on ua.
just proves you cant relay on athelicism alone to be good... eggs in one basket.
This is a shame considering Pheonix was and is competing just fine without him.
Didn't he have the same surgery as Zach? Maybe those of you that bash Randolph for being lazy should cut him a little slack.

Zach being lazy has nothing to do with his surgery...IMO you can tell when his knee is bothering him and when he is simply being lazy.

Are you telling me Zach's knee injury is what's causing him to stand out around the three-point line and jack up shots?

No I mean Zach busted his *** to get this season and play. Most likely playing through a lot of pain. There is a ot of people who think Zach is a little heavy and didn't work hard this off season. That's the lazy I speak of. Zach definatley tends to be a bit lazy on the court every now and then. In his defense of jacking up three pointers I'd say he is probably tired of banging down low only to see the guards or Miles jack up shots. I know Zach is as close to a black hole as there is, but he is effective.
Its not the knee injury that scares me away from Zach. Its the fact that his only all-star quality season was when he had Wallace to feed off of. Ever since then he has been getting worse.

True I'll certainly give Zach credit where credit is due in terms of getting back into as good of shape as possible after his injury.

I still wish he would get his *** back down in the paint more though.
