The release explains the connections, some of which have been discussed here previously. Doesn't really explain what UVM's duties as host entail other than "fill in the blank line where it says 'HOST'." But either way, kinda neat.

Better write your thank you note to the University of North Dakota, who are taking on hosting duties for that one.

Page 24 says hosts have to provide basically all gameday ops (security/food/first aid, etc.) plus PR responsibilities and handling media hospitality. There's a joke in there about UVM's bad selection of Victory Club food, but I can't make a good one right now.

UNH will host the Women's Final Four at the Whit in 2024 and the Men will host two of the upcoming regionals in 2021, 2023 and 2025.
