You can say that no US team w/ VC on it ever lost. VC was the top scorer for them in Sydney. The teams were just better then. The team they sent to Athens had no chemistry & Larry Brown didn't like to play all the young guys too much which could have been a good strategy. Amare, LeBron, Wade all broke out the following season.

You're right. I have no reason to question your ideas on crucial geo-political matters, given your experience and high ranking position in the media. I have no idea what I was thinking and for that I apologize. Just a momentary lapse in judgement.
