Last night against NDSU he was the best defender on the floor. He started at the 5(!) and held Summit League POY candidate 6'10 Rocky Kreuser (A+ Name) 3 for 13 from the floor. Lamar finished with 11 points, 9 boards and 4 blocks.

Jose Placer won A-Sun player of the week after a 31 point performance vs. North Alabama. He's had a good year for North Florida. Would be a nice player on this UMBC team, but he wanted volume and UNF is giving him volume.
