Agreed"Is your first phone call going to be to Clarence Daniels" would be a decent interview question for UNH

I can tell you he liked going to school at UNH and depending on the hire could he come back hopefully. Guess it depends on who offers him while he's in the portal."Is your first phone call going to be to Clarence Daniels" would be a decent interview question for UNH
To play where?Charles Pride enters the portal. Wouldn't mind seeing him head to hometown Syracuse.
Grow up. Pride is graduating with a degree or at least did his 4 years with Bryant. Wants to try it elsewhere, and he's free to do so. Were you this smug and wondering what is happening "behind the scenes" when Stef Smith left UVM for the same reasons?Root

This is a blow for Grasso and Dawg U. Pride was Grasso's rock. I wonder what was happening behind the scenes at Bryant, especially during the late season slide. Who will be next to leave Dawg U?
What do you mean “where”? It’s not like ‘Cuse is loaded with proven guys. They had a so-so season. Pride could certainly be a rotation guy for them. I know they were young this year, ton of freshmen getting PT, but it’s not a given that 1. They all stay and 2. That they improve in their sophomore season.Root

Are they tho?SNHU is 20-7. #1 in the conference. Evan is averaging 16 & 7. I think he is doing just fine.
I've said it many times before: if you come to school, and get a degree, the transaction is completed. If you still have eligibility and want to stick around? Awesome. Want to go elsewhere? Hey, you accomplished the thing that's actually important and there's no more business to conduct. Everyone lived up to their end of the bargain.Yeah, I feel like grad transfers are less indicative of there being an issue than other transfers. He’s got one year left, he’s given Bryant four good ones when he certainly could have transferred to a higher level in prior seasons. Let him see if he can contribute on a high-major team, even as a 6th man type. After Bryant’s mediocre season, can’t blame him. Maybe if Bryant had a magical run they’d all try and run it back again next season, but they didn’t. Best of luck to Pride!
No smug. It was a blow when Stef left. And it was no secret: There was a lack of chemistry at DU, for whatever reason. And BTW, you do a good Lonergan.Grow up. Syracuse is upgrading. They just got a five star transfer guard from Notre Dame, and people think Judah Mintz is coming back. Girard hasn't announced. I'm not convinced Pride gets in their rotation, but maybe he does. Maybe, PT is secondary, and Pride just wants the big time experience. Or maybe it has something to do with academics. What do you mean “where”? It’s not like ‘Cuse is loaded with proven guys. They had a so-so season. Pride could certainly be a rotation guy for them. No chance. Not with the comments he made about how he felt he was being treated there.I hope Guillory gives UVM a second shot
That's not what I asked you. I asked if you would have used the chemistry issues or thought something must be up when Stef Smith left for his extra year the way you have with Pride. I didn't ask if it was a blow or not. Again, Pride did 4 years at Bryant, helped that program tremendously, and is deciding to go elsewhere. His reasons are his reasons, but I suspect, like many guys in the portal, he wants to test himself and try something different, which he is completely entitled to do. Just remember this on the chance Aaron Deloney throws his name in there too next week.No smug. It was a blow when Stef left. Just when I think you can't get any stupider. Buddy, UVM doesn't need him and will get along just fine without him. Let him try and portal into some D1 and if he goes out and "gets his" then report back to me what that team's record was...and whether he's in the portal next year. It's pretty clear what he's after and UVM ain't the place that's gonna give it to him. Move on.I hope Guillory gives UVM a second shot
