Did he already lose his job?
The America Least blog was entertaining when the original writer from UVM was running it. It was pretty clever and was actually a good source of new information on things AE-related.My bad. I guess I never got any of the humor on that crappy blog.
Times-Union reports:Goodman says Raffa to QU
Quinnipiac of the Northeast Conference is among the schools showing interest in former University at Albany guard Anthony Raffa, a source close to the situation confirmed Friday.
Raffa has yet to commit to Quinnipiac, however.
Rider, Long Island, St. Peter’s and some junior colleges are also in the running for Raffa, who decided to transfer out of UAlbany following an injury-plagued freshman season.
Jeff Goodman of Fox Sports first mentioned on his blog that Quinnipiac was a potential destination for Raffa, which makes sense because Eric Eaton, who recruited Raffa at UAlbany, is now a Quinnipiac assistant.
Raffa’s father said in March the release granted by UAlbany prohibited his son from talking to any America East, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, or Northeast Conference schools.
But Quinnipiac and Long Island are in the NEC and Rider and St. Peter’s belong to the MAAC, so apparently something has changed.
This is why you shouldn't believe everything you hear!!!! :wtf:Raffa’s father said in March the release granted by UAlbany prohibited his son from talking to any America East, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, or Northeast Conference schools.

If you look at his picture though on the Illinois-Chicago website, the kid is absolutely humongous. He literally looked nothing like that and at least half that size when he was at UVM.Kyle Robbins is the starting center for Illinois-Chicago, amazing.... good for him. He must have really transformed himself in the past year.
Unfortunately, more for his "Anvil" beard than his hoops
I agree. I thought they would really need him this year. Very UnfortunateThis may have been posted (if it has I missed it) but Goodman is reporting Genesis Maciel has transferred from Hartford. He only played in 2 games this season. That's unfortunate- based on what I saw last year I thought he was going to be one of Hartford's better players.
