Yeah, good point. Ming must be overrated because Shaq can score on him...

...oh wait, Shaq scores on EVERY center. Good system you have there of determining whether a player is overrated. Every center in the league not named Shaquille O'Neal is overrated.

RunninRaven, I love it. I was going to write just about the same thing. It's not that they think he'll be able to be better then Shaq. It's no one in the NBA currently is able to really compete with Shaq on a constant basis therefore they have to find someone who might be able to and the possibility of someone who is taller might be one of the few chances.

I also wasn't sure what to think of Ming, but I've recent become more impressed. His post moves are actually really nice. I'm not sure if he'll be able to compete against Shaq but I'm expecting him to come in and show the lower/middle starting centers in the league some stuff. It's gonna take time to bulk up and overpower and height the other good ones, but there's a possibility.

I'm a huge Wagner fan also. I think this will be the best overall draft ever, but if I was to take someone that I don't think would be a bust i'd definetly pick Wagner. I also think J-Will, Butler, Wilcox and some others are future (good picks) but from seeing Wagner progress with just 1 year of college and how smart he is I think he'll be amazing also.

Yao Ming will get eaten alive by Shaq...just like every other center. He will draw Shaq away from the basket allowing teamates penetration. He will also force Shaq to play D because he has a good offensive game, which will tire Shaq and force him to sit on the bench more. Dejaun Wagner is the best scorer in the draft, simple as that. If he doesn't get picked in the top10 it will be the biggest steal of the draft. IMO that kid from Georgia (Skita) is the most overrated. The dude didn't start for his team in Europe, hasn't been seen by many team scouts. With all these Euros being drafted at least one will be a bust.

i think its going to be Mike Dunleavy Jr. i think he can be de Next Stojakovic at best, and i still doub it. i think peja its much best player than dunleavy. a lot of people are calling him the next Larry Bird or the next Chris Mullin. bs. he can be the Next Danny Ferry too they are similar players and Ferry also is big (about 6'9" or 6'10" i guess) i think dunleavy its this year bust

Overrated

Stoudemire isn't overrated, I've seen him play, he's the total package. The guys that are the most overrated are:

Chris Wilcox
Yao Ming
and Curtis Borchartd

DaJuan Wagner is underrated, he's projected to be the 8th pick, he's way better than that. The Grizzlies or Nuggets should take Wagner while they can.:yes:

Why does everyone think that Gooden is so great? He's a good player, but he is highly overrated. I would think that he would be around the 8-13 pick. The Grizzlies picking him at 4 just seems weird to me.

I think that Jared Jeffries will for sure be a bust.

He played so bad in the tournament. He got abused and how can he handle the NBA then?

Yeah, I knew there was another overrated player. Jared Jeffries got his a** kicked by the Terps. Wilcox and Baxter man-handled Jeffries when he had the ball. He is really skinny, and has an okay low post game. He is for sure, going to be a bust.

good someone agrees with me. you don't hear his name that often because he is projected to go in the lottery. but watch and see...this kid is gonna have his problems.

Led the Big 12 in rebounding
Top 5 in blocks in Big 12
One of the fastest big man in the draft

He also has strength and a big body. He also has good size. Size + Skills make a good Forward.

Firstly -- Mr. X -- you can't say a** even with the dollar signs, we aren't alowed to do that here

Secondly -- You guys asked how Jeffries can handle the NBA?

Here are a few reasons

Jeffries grew to 6-11 during the draft camps
Jeffires improved his verticle, speed, shot, post moves, and rebounding during the draft camps
Jeffries was a sophmore last year, and beign a sophmore, you can't expect him to hold his own against another top draft prospect and one of the premiere college big men together.
