I think this team could be great, my only concern would be Dwight Howard, getting the ball in the low post enough times to assist in his development. Nonetheless it is a good team to surround Kobe with.futuristxen said:Steve Nash
Defensive minded unit. Nash keeps the other players involved. Kobe is the primary scorer, and if he gets doubled, Diaw and Nash can both make outside shots, while Howard and Wallace can crash the glass. A team built for Kobe. They play an attacking defensive minded game.
Nash=Paxson but with Pippen's passing and floor game.
Dwight Howard=For the shortcomings Diaw has with relation to Pippen, this is a significant upgrade over Ho Grant.
Ben Wallace> Luc Longley
with the current Lakers Smush parker, Devean George, Kwame Brown, and Chris Mihm on the bench. Coached by Phil Jackson, this team threatens 78 wins, and is a shoe in for the championship.
You said it couldn't be done, but Kobe is out to prove you wrong. Not only is he the man on this team, but they are damn good.

NO ONE will ever be able to out-rebound this team, and with two effective passers/lobbers, and three good catchers/dunkers, it'd be just fun. Granted, there'd be no 3-pt shooting, besides Marion, but who's stopping them from 15-ft in?
That's not even mentioning this team's defensive capabilities.
