Alright guys... I have a bet going on at work and need some help in determining a winner. We have 2 eight man teams that are going to play each other in a 7 game series. Assume all players are in their prime and can play out of position if necessary. If you would start a player at a different position or move a starter to the bench, etc, that's fine...

Please vote for a team and if you can comment on why it would win that would be even better.... Thanks for the help guys.

Team #1:
PG: Isaiah Thomas
SG: Kobe Bryant
SF: LeBron James
PF: Karl Malone
C: Hakeem Olajawon

Bench:
Chris Paul
Reggie Miller
Shaq ONeal

Team 2:
PG: Scottie Pippen
SG: Michael Jordan
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Charles Barkley
C: Tim Duncan

Bench:
Derrick Rose
Patrick Ewing
Dwayne Wade

Team 1. Huge advantage with the bigs, Hakeem/Shaq/Malone is crazy good. Reggie Miller's three point shooting would be ideal next to guys like Paul and LeBron. Too much size, too well rounded, too many dominant players. MJ doesn't make the difference from my perspective, but some of these guys are before my time.

Jerry West
Clyde Drexler
Larry Bird
Karl Malone
Wilt Chamberlin

Gary Payton
Kobe Bryant (can't have MJ or else it wouldn't be fair lol)
Bobby Jones
Tim Duncan
Bill Russell

There, an amazing offensive team vs an amazing defense team. Defense more often than not beats offense so I think this is a fair match up.
