It was an ending that would have made perfect sense to Yogi Berra.

The Pirates seemed to have beaten Milwaukee yesterday at PNC Park on Jose Castillo's two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning.

But it wasn't over -- until it was over a couple of minutes later when catcher Ryan Doumit smacked a single down the right-field line to give the Pirates a 4-3 win and a sweep of the four-game series against the Brewers.

"The last thing I know, I'm batting Castillo on the head, banging on his head, celebrating, and the next thing I know, they're doing it to me," Doumit said. "It was quite the roller-coaster ride the last five minutes."

What looked at first be a winning two-out, two-run shot to right-center field to extend Castillo's home run streak to six games instead was ruled a double after a short consultation by the umpires and animated pleas from Milwaukee outfielders Corey Hart and Brady Clark.
