Coming off a loss and having to play at UConn is not the best game for Pitt to win. Especially because they are going to have to score to win this game. They will get quite a few whistles for their physical defense in Storrs. To key victory for the Panthers is offense not defense.
I don't buy, and don't ever buy into the your fired up after a win theory.
Pitt is a frustrating team to play - tough defence, plodding game. The frustration can actaully lead to worse play coming off a loss as you get down on yourself earlier in the game when playing a team like Pitt.
I say UConn wins - slightly better team at home. The fact that they lost last game is a negative if anything IMO.
