Doesn't really matter since the pick will pretty much be the same regardless. But I say lottery, in hopes that Billy King gets fired.

Why? Just so we can have another first round exit.RedsDrunk said:Playoffs! A bunch of ****in sallys round here these days.

Lottery for me
It makes no sense for this team to make the playoffs and lose at this point they are the 11th worst team in the league they make the playoffs the come in at 13 so your comment is false. 2 picks make a difference but at least with pick 11 you have a shot at #1. This is a horribly mismanaged team and continually building through the draft would be in the teams best interest. What are the positives for the Sixers making the playoffs? its low, very low. I mean Orlando did it in 91 or 92 so its not like its impossible but we are more likely to get a #1 pick than beat Detroit in the first round. Also you never answered the questionRedsDrunk said:Would you care to share with me the odds of us getting the #1 pick? Pretty sure I have better odds at winning big on a scratch off.
I didn't answer the question b/c you are pretty much right. The sixers are a prominent piece in my life as I'm sure they are yours and I'm both dissapointed and frustrated with the way things have panned out thus far. Missing the playoffs is failure to me. Its conceeding defeat and will be a giant shot at the egos and morale of several important players on our roster. Starting with our star(singular on purpose) and seeping(sp*) down onto our young core. This will be hurtful to their motivation and might lead to questions of whether or not they'd like to stay with the team and or if they are motivated to perform come summer training and into the season. Realistically this is a team I never saw coming out of the first round to begin with. I had hoped originally for a competitive series to provide me entertainment. That is most likely, if not definately not going to be the case. I'm not sold on improved position in this draft bringing us very far in the future. As you mentioned it is our management issues and team direction that are truely our biggest detractors at this point. I admit the draft would be the better thing for this team at this point but chose lottery out of pure selfish spite.BEEZ said:its low, very low. I understand but I can also see this as motivation for our younger players to step up they're respective games to that next level. Also, mocks hold 0 weight IMO as they are always very shiftyRedsDrunk said:I didn't answer the question b/c you are pretty much right. What is the difference in draft position that will come from missing the playoffs? 2 spots?I'm interested to know historically what the difference in the caliber of players found between these 2 postitions. Judging from the mock drafts I've come accross the player coming out at 11 seems to be JJreddick. I wonder who is projected at 13.
Too bad. I would have wanted Shelden Williams.BEEZ said:Also, mocks hold 0 weight IMO as they are always very shifty
Playoffs of course! hehe But I doubt it. The Bulls are ahead of them by 1/2 games. They have to beat the bulls this week.sliccat said:Which would you rather see the sixers get, Playoffs or the Lottery?
