On the positive side: Fordham. I don't think that Rich or Ace saw a 24 win season and a third seed at Barclays coming. The Rams were predicted in the coaches' preseason poll to finish 11th. My second positive surprise is Duquesne with a 20 win season. They were predicted to finish dead last in the coaches' poll.
On the negative surprise side: Loyola The newest conference member found the competition to be difficult going 10 and 20 finishing in last place for the A-10. Pre-season they were picked 4th. Then there are Richmond, UMASS and URI expected to finish 7,8 &9 respectively. All three had losing records, but my nod goes to URI with a 9-21 record.
Just one man's opinion..
