What do you have the Bulls down for? Honestly, I can't make a prediction. I think I went with 37 wins last season and we won 41 games. This year, I want to say 50+ wins, but I just don't know. Will Thibs prove to be a worthy head coach? Will Deng & Rose reign 3's on the league? Will Boozer stay healthy? How about our bench, are they ready for prime time? Chemistry, is it an issue? Just so many questions. Plus, let's not forget the elephant in the room, Miami.

Anyhow, I turn this over to the basketball analyst experts and let's see what you think we'll be able to do this year.

Season Record:
Season Record (W/L)
Season Ranking (1 - 15)
Playoff Record (W/L, Rounds, etc)

Stats: PPG, FT, ASSISTS, REB
Rose
Noah
Boozer
Deng

A few years ago we had a team of Hinrich, Gordon, Deng, PJ Brown, and Ben Wallace, and they won 49 games.

I see no reason Rose, 3-headed SG monster, Deng, Boozer, and Noah can't win at least 50.

Alot of this just comes down to health though. We won't look like a 50-win club at times early this season, but I think we can get there without too many more set backs.

I think we will win 55 games. The boozer injury hurts and the beginning of the season will be rough. But I think we can get through it and then coast throughout the rest of the season.

They are going to take about 20-25 games to really gel, but this season, if it is mainly injury free, should be a good one. The reason they have struggled against teams like Dallas and Orlando is b/c those players have played with each other for several seasons and they are made up of veterans. I think we will see some struggles in the 1st 20-25 games, but after that we will really see some well defined roles and a productive season.

51-31

I'm gonna say the circus trip and boozer's injury + getting used to having boozer on the fly makes the 1st 2 months a slow going , but then after that they should be fine.

48 wins, with more optimism than the avg. 48 win team headed into the postseason due to a late season surge.

48 wins would be my prediction, figuring a bit of a slow start. If they are above .500 in the first month, I might increase that to 50-52.

My prediction is 54 wins.

I look for the Bulls to break even in November and then start pulling away from December on.

Go Bulls!

50 wins at the most.

This team has a huge potential for injuries. Noah, Deng, Boozer and Taj have all had injuries in the past and Boozer who is injured now has not even set foot on the court. As long as Rose stays healthy the Bulls will be competitive and but if he goes down you can forget about the season.

Can't you really say that about pretty much any team though? Any team that loss its best player is pretty much done.

For the most part yes but if the Lakers lose Kobe they are still a playoff team, if the Heat lose Lebron they still make the playoff's, Boston lost KG and made the playoff's so it really all about the depth. My main thing with this Bulls team is who will come off the bench and give us a scoring punch when guy's like Rose and Deng aren't making shots, CJ Watson? James Johnson?

Kyle Korver is a specialist, he will be able to drop the occasional 15 point game but the Bulls are a Jamal Crawford short of having one bad ass team.

But back to Rose, the Bulls lack of a consistent scoring option in the back-court makes Rose even more important.

Without Rose the Bulls don't even make the playoff's.

How come you're not so optimistic, Rhyder? Injuries?

I still say we'll get around 50 wins, accounting for Boozer's injury. IMO, we've already lost 1 game (Knicks) and possibly more than 1 that we may have otherwise won w/ Boozer (and by ripple effect, a deeper bench). But, we still look OK for a team missing their best big man and 2nd best player. Upcoming road trip will be brutal and a real test of where a Boozer-less is at.

If Boozer had never been injured, we could easily be 6-1 right now (all losses have been pretty close) and well on pace for upper-50's win pace. If only if's and buts were candy and nuts. ;)

46 - 36 seems pretty optimistic to me. It's five more victories than we saw last year. I just hope (*crosses fingers*) that we can aim that high.
It's pretty optimistic, but not so optimistic, if you get what I mean.

A 5 win improvement over a VDN coached team without Boozer, Deng still coming around, DRose hurt at the beginning of the year, and Jo No just starting to take the game seriously and getting hurt with PF....

Last year's team should have had 5 more wins, regardless, let alone this year's. Just MO. :)

That's the model I use every year speaking, not an instinctual guess. Rose and Noah both have played better this year than I expected, so maybe our actual win total will exceed my prediction.
