Wednesday's games

Detroit (11-10, 5-6) at Wright State (12-10, 9-3)
Edge: Wright State

First meeting: Wright State 67, Detroit 61

After the beating that Detroit took at home against Wright State, will they be prepared for the rematch in Ohio? Wright State may get more of a challenge this time, especially since it has now become a very dangerous team.

Thursday's games

Illinois-Chicago (16-7, 7-4) at Youngstown State (7-14, 3-8)
Edge: Illinois-Chicago

First meeting: Illinois-Chicago 66, Youngstown State 47

This one seems to be an easy one. Despite having the home court this time, UIC should be too powerful for Youngstown State to stop.

Butler (10-11, 5-6) at Cleveland State (4-19, 0-12)
Edge: Butler

First meeting: Butler 61, Cleveland State 43

This game will probably be the closest out of all of these. Cleveland State is probably the most dangerous team in the league at this point, and they have a big reason to be now. One more loss, and Cleveland State is guaranteed a 9th seed in the Horizon League tournament. Two more losses, and Cleveland State is guaranteed to finish the league in 9th place. Butler will probably be the team to give Cleveland State that loss, but Cleveland State will not give this one up quietly.

Loyola (7-15, 3-9) at Wisconsin-Milwaukee (16-6, 11-1)
Edge: Wisconsin-Milwaukee

First meeting: Wisconsin-Milwaukee 97, Loyola 87

Two more wins and Wisconsin-Milwaukee has clinched at least a share of the regular season title. Wisconsin-Milwaukee also has the easiest remaining conference schedule in the league, with their highest opponent remaining currently at #5 in the league. Unless there is a complete breakdown in the team over these next few games, Milwaukee may have guaranteed itself the regular season championship. Loyola hasn't been playing too well lately, and won't be too tough for UWM, but they won't just hand UWM the title.

Wisconsin-Green Bay (15-7, 9-3) Off

Saturday's games
IPFW at Wright State (non-conference)
Butler at Detroit
Illinois-Chicago at Cleveland State
Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Youngstown State
Loyola at Wisconsin-Green Bay

This is good to see.....

Green Bay fan it's good to see you're trying to promote your Horizon league. I'll admit I've watched a couple of Horizon league games besides UWM and I enjoy the conference. They've got a very fun and competitive tourny at the end of the year. If it was meant for Wisconsin basketball, UWM would win the regular season tourney, than UWGB and UWM would meet in the tourney championship with UWGB winning, hopefully allowing both to make the dance. Wisconsin will get an at-large bid and that will leave those peace of **** Golden Eagles of Marquette the only team to not get a bid to the dance this year.

OH but Travis Diener and Steve Novak!!!!
Shove it Marquette fans.....
