Dude wasn't allowed back on Clemson after his 3rd failed drug test. Really brings Gordon to mind there. I also watched an interview on youtube from when he was first arriving at Clemson where he talked about how basketball is his first love and he was playing football on the strength that he might get drafted. Guy didn't strike me as particularly motivated in the way a lot of successful players are.
All in all everything considered I wish they would have pulled the trigger on Collins when they had the chance. Reporters said Fisher tried and his agent told him not to bother.
If Battle is the consolation prize I'm not going to cry over a 5th, but I'm hesitant to expect any real production out of the guy for a while.
Hoping I'm wrong.
