I used to make jokes about this guy losing big games, but damn i had no idea of what his record (145-51) was at UG..

Then they replace him with a first ttime head coach, yikes!!!

Richt was a legitimate elite coach his first seven years, but only 14-23 vs. ranked teams the last eight years and there's been more embarrassing losses recently while Georgia used to never get blown out at the beginning of Richt's tenure. He just looked burned out, I thought a year off would do him good.

Or very least a new scenery.
It will be interesting to see what his staff looks like. Richt should look at Chris Weinke. He's not moving up anytime soon as the QB's coach in St. Louis and he has ties to Florida from being at IMG.
