It was no surprise that the eastern conference owners have completely backed the move but NBA executives were shocked to find that the western conference owners were also behind the plan.

Added Stern, "Obviously, this plan favours the teams in the east that have poor records, so we knew they would be on-board. I guess we expected some resistance from the west but it never happened."
Also, there are some funny bits in the Bulls/Heat recap:

On the other end of the spectrum Rick Brunson played in his 205th NBA game. He played a whopping three minutes while recording an assist and a blocked shot. Yes, Brunson recorded the 12th blocked shot of his career and his second this year. If he keeps up this pace he will finish with 5 blocked shots and shatter his previous season best of three. Who says he isn't having a career year?

For the record, Brunson blocked a shot by Loren Woods who is 7 feet, 2 inches tall. Either Brunson has an amazing vertical leap or Woods sucks. I think we all know the answer to that one.

The NBDL does serve a purpose. David Stern, I owe you a Coke
He's apparently high on Dupree as well. Somebody should invite this guy to post on these boards. We need a strong Rick Brunson faction on these boards to keep Hinrich and Crawford fans in check.

My personal favorite is the link to the NBDL page of glory.
