you said Lewis would likely red shirt, you were wrong. Answer that, answer man

Why is Mansell being groomed to be the point? I thought Pierce was the PG of the future. You've made numerous posts saying how good Pierce got and would be. I guess Pierce is only a 1 year PG.

You also said Rider would have a couple of spring signings, so far Rider has signed a red-shirt, which is not even a recruit (your words and 07 signing).

Who ever said anything about the Mansell's being upset. Only thing rumored was the Thompson's being irritated. Looks like you just outed some information that we didn't know before.
Bb it is really grtting tiring educating you,I said Lewis would likely prep not redshirt, it would not be wise to bring a point in every 4 years, like Siena wisely did they are bringing in Moore to learn and back up kojo for 2 years then turn it over to him for 2 years, same thing planned for Rider Pierce and Mouton will help Mansell learn the position next year. Also Rider did not want to bring in 5 recruits last year and 5 this year so it helps to balance out the classes.

I said Rider signed a recruit, well got a verbal that will sign on Wed. Look for 2 otherbBigs to be signed in the near future, one may be after the late period and one may be a juco. They may leave one spot open for a transfer or late qualifer.

People were posting that there were numerous parents upset I was just pointing out that there are 2 families who are happy with the direction the athletic office is heading and by all accounts everybody will return next year.

Beagle. Please don't compare your sorry program to Siena. Recruiting at Siena is on a different level and for different reasons than at Rider. At this point, Rider can't even field a team with 5 D-1 caliber athletes.

I mis spoke about Lewis redshirting. Your quote was he'd likely prep and you were flat out wrong.

You ducked the question on Pierce. You said Pierce would play point and that you seemed pleased with his play and potential. No need to back up Pierce for 2 years. Rider can't even get enough players. You also said Mansell would "take the Mouton's spot when he graduates". That's odd, I thought Pierce was Mouton's place when he graduates?

Pierce will man the point for the next 3 years but it is wise to have a PG in training to learn and be there if there is an injury. Yes Patrick Mansell will be groomed to take Mouton's spot when he graduates next year then back up Pierce and when Pierce be in line to take over the point. I did not compair Rider to siena just was making a point and using what siena did this year as an example.
