Personally, I think Riley needs to relinquish some of his many duties with the Heat. He is their president, GM, and coach.

Obviously his genius in defensive strategy is awesome. His opposite of "genius" on the offensive end shows up in the many games (so many of those offensive ditch-like games are in the all time record books for futility and that is bad!)where they lose because nobody has any energy left to score.

He needs to either cut down the practice time for the team or cut himself out of the coaching ranks. Things are just not working for him. This was the first year one of his teams did not make the playoffs and that should tell him something is amiss.

He can improve through the draft. With either Qyntel Woods or Tskitshvili, or maybe even a decent PG. If that trade rumor of Eddie Jones for Dickerson and Swift is true, they'll be improved a lot. That'd leave room for Brian Grant to be moved for picks, or maybe a few bench players.

I was looking back at some of the dated posts and this one popped up. Deja vu.
