Yao Ming has a bone to pick with Brian Grant. He can't let Brian Grant out muscle him time and time again... he has alot to prove in today's game against the Heat. Smaller, stronger and quicker centers have always thrown Yao off his game but once he establishes positioning it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Hopefully Stevie has a big game as well.

yao will see a lot of double teams tonight, he needs to pass out of them to guys cutting to the basket. he needs to be more than a scorer and he is, look for him to have big assists and get the backcourt more involved.

Didn't the last time Yao played the Heat, he blocked 7 shots? and did well in other categories?

Brian Grant cut up Yao Ming's arms his rookie season, in fact you can still see the scars on the back off his left arm. Blocking 7 shots is something Shawn Bradley has also done a number of times.

In an older NBA, a Cato, a Weatherspoon, maybe even a Padgett and Jimmy Jackson, would take turns communicating their displeasure to Grant over his rude treatment of their teammate. A Mark Jackson, as a team leader, coach on the floor and wily veteran, might get his point across to Grant also about improving his behavior in the future.

With the help of his friends, Yao wouldn't have to do anything to get his message across but make buckets - scar-free.

Great game so far by both teams, Houston started a little slow during the 1st quarter, its now 38-34 Mia. I saw Patrick Ewing on the Houston bench what is he doing there?

well Miami limited Francis to only 9 points in 39 minutes of play and as also Jim Jackson just 5 points 1-12 shooting.
Our last 3 games we limited Kidd,Marbury, and Francis just under 10 points each.

Grant just kept on defending Yao pretty good just limiting him to only 12 points 6 rebounds and 0 blocks.

Good game by the Heat.

Thats about the only thing Bradley can do. The NBA Yao Ming doesn't come back at players aggresively, especially a hard working player that doesn't play dirty such as Brian Grant.
