id say it was a decent pick up.

He's making himself a lot of money. I hope the Cavs re-sign him though to like the MLE. As injury prone as Hughes is, they kind of need him around. Plus I think Hughes/Bron/Murray can play at the same time and be more effective than when Snow/Jones are out there with those two.

The both are dark skinned and wear headbands. I think that's where the confusion lies.neoxsupreme said:They don't look anything alike.
He's actually made very good decisions since he's been on the Cavaliers. He does at times make questionable shooting decisions, but normally he's pretty sound. Since he really doesn't play the point for Cleveland he really is limited in the number of decisions that he has to make.rainman said:i dont think you want to start him or have him on the floor at the end of the game, just doesnt always make good decisions , there was a reason seattle let him go.
yeh but i wondering how u fail to recognize the 5inch 50lb differencefuturistxen said:The both are dark skinned and wear headbands. I think that's where the confusion lies.
yea, i agree. I've seen some Cavs games recently and I thought that was Lebron. Some of Flip's moves are similar to Lebron's.master8492 said:He's kind of Lebron-look-alike. Most of the time I thought he was Lebron on the court.
Flip actually requested to the coach for him to play point. He said he could. It's been said in anothe Clevelanbd Flip thread- this is the honeymoon time. Soon his role will be greatly reduced by Hughes and Jackson, and those who saw him play with Seattle know he needs a lot of minutes to be effective.G-Force said:I am glad to see Flip getting quality minutes playing his natural position - shooting guard. The Sonics tried to convert him into a point guard, and it was unfair to Flip.
Um...Jackson? Luke? Luke Jackson?WTChan said:Flip actually requested to the coach for him to play point. He said he could. It's been said in anothe Clevelanbd Flip thread- this is the honeymoon time. Speaking of Luke Jackson, what the hell is going on with that guy? Is he playing crappy or in the dog house or what?futuristxen said:Um...Jackson? Luke? Luke Jackson?
Sorry but Luke Jackson will be lucky if he can get Sasha Pavlovic's minutes. He's not a Mike Brown favorite. Look at the minutes Flip Murray is playing. It's second only to Lebron. Even when Hughes comes back, there's plenty of minutes to be found in the backcourt. Who would you rather be playing--Flip or Damon Jones? Not a hard problem. Plus you can cut Lebron's minutes under 40 if you keep Flip around and play him 30.
If Brown can juggle Donyell Marshall/Drew Gooden/and Verejao in the two frontcourt spots. I'm sure he can juggle Hughes, Lebron, and Flip between the 3 other positions. It helps that Lebron can play all 3 spots, and Hughes can play 2 as can Flip.

Kind of neither. He was playing relatively well when he got a shot, but tends to be a bit timid on the offensive end. He'll make some nice plays and then just refuses to take some wide open shots that he gets. It's actually pretty strange but whether the player is hitting or not, we need whomever is playing the 2 to be aggressive and to take the wide open shots that are given to them within the offense. Thats why Flip has worked out so well, even the nights that he's been 2-9 he's really helped the team.compsciguy78 said:Speaking of Luke Jackson, what the hell is going on with that guy?
