Well, I didn't actually see him, but he's playing in the USBL.

Ronnie Fields (Pennsylvania): Former high school teammate of Kevin Garnett ranks 8th in USBL in scoring (19.4 ppg).

Of course, leave it to the Slantinel to run this article when the USBL season is almost over. Palm Bay is only an hour from my house, and I would have taken the wife and son to a game if I would have known they had a team there.

Thanks for the update.

Bulls News,
What do you think about the Orlando Sentinel's NBA coverage. As a fan of Bulls message boards I know someting about being a homer, but I have read a number of articles from that periodical that were striking. I remember one in perticular went on at length about the tradition of the Magic (as if they have ever won a championship). Did I just hit bad articles or does the Sentinel need you as an editor?

Well, any paper in the country should be honored to have me as an editor...

The Slantinel seems to think that Gabriel and Rivers are gods, even though the Magic aren't very far over .500 and haven't been out of the first round of the playoffs under either of them.

If Hill were healthy AND the Magic had been to AT LEAST the conference finals in one of the past 2 seasons, then maybe one could overlook some of Gabe's very questionable draft picks and trades... but until the Magic make a little noise in the off-season, both Gabe and Doc will remain highly over-rated in my eyes.

At least Doc rivers has had the coaching post for a couple of years... I feel like some of the Chicago media has already inducted BC into the coaching Hall Of Fame. This isn't to say he won't be, or isn't for the matter, a good coach, but he is still definitely in his honey-moon period. I can only hope we have this much enthusiasm for B.C. a year from now.
