^^ he should.

BUT, he should've nevre went pro in the first place, if he would've stayed for his senior season he would have been a possible lottery pick, and a for sure first round pick. bad choices in life seem to out-weigh the good ones.

this guy is an idiot

Mario has a collapsed lung and he wants to fly for over 10 hours on an airplane. how smart is that?? but now he thinks he is smarter than doctors? yea, he might think he didnt need the tube in him, but how many times has anyone been on subscription medicine, and after you have taken half the bottle you feel like you dont need to take the rest but are always told to take them all? The doctors there know much better than some guy that dropped out of college but why would the doctors in belgrade (serbia) care to keep a guy from a russian team from leaving?? hmmmm maybe because they wanted to keep the idiot alive?. And being forced to sign a contract? yea they gave some unproven player more than 90% of the players in europe make with a nice bmw, poor him, goo goo gaaa gaa, what a baby.

Wow. That's ridiculous. First of all HE COULDN'T UNDERSTAND A WORD THE DOCTORS WERE SAYING. He was there just to check things out, and it seems he got conned into staying. It's a miracle he got out. None of this is his fault. It's his agents fault for betraying him like that. I find it hard for a guy to take and do what the doctors are saying when he can't understand what they're saying. How is he an idiot for what his agent was doing? And who in the hell said he thought he was smarter than the doctors? He didn't think he needed the tube in his chest that long. He never said he knew he didn't.

This story sounds like total bull.

He probably wants to keep the $70 000 and doesn't want to go back, so he made up a story like this. If he were really kidnapped there'd already be a lot of involvment from the US government and so on. A team like CSKA is not going to kidnap somebody as good as Duncan, you want us to believe they'd do a stupid thing like this over some guy nobody's heard of.

The truth is that we do not know WHAT the truth is. I can imagine the pressure being high for him to sign while he was there - I have been in sales for a long time and some of the techniques that I have seen employed were just short of Mafia tactics at times. Young kid, taken overseas, doesn't speak the language - high pressure to sign... sounds legit to me.

The medical side of it? Who knows? His lung collapsed twice within a couple of months - that is scary stuff.

Bryan - if he was having lung problems it probably would not have mattered if he came back to school or not.

If he were white or Yugoslavian, I bet I know what side you'd be on...

It's not like we don't already know the routine, Golgor.
