A VC fan wishing Vince gets injured: Priceless
Screw The Nets fans!
Now I am not a Nets fan but a big Vince Carter fan therefore I cheer for Vince which means I cheer for the team he plays for, which would be the Nets in this case. Now my beef with Nets fans is how they keep bashing Vince. Realistically he is the main reason why Nets made it to the playoffs last year. He is the main reason why Nets are at the top of the Atlantic this year. Sure J-kidd is the best player out there but Vince is Nets' offence. Without Vince, Nets would be the worst offensive team in the league. I really hope Vince gets injured and we'll see how far Nets will go with fan favorite RJ as the no.1 guy.

Now, we as nets fans have a right to bash carter for things such as:
taking too many fadeaways, 30ft shots with time winding down, and shot selection.
all because we want the best for the team.

Just an advise to Mr Bold, you have got to learn to ignore it. Plain and simple, you wont be changing anyone's minds as they wont be changing yours either.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Sure they will score, but Vince is the most reliable scorer on the Nets. He is the only one that can effectively get a shot off whenever he wants to. There have been tons of times this season with Vince on the bench that they couldnt score, heck even the finals team found it hard to score. With Vince you have a very effective halfcourt offense.

Except the part about Vince gettin injured
You are talking about someone who has to put up 20 shots to get 25 PPG. That's not efficient by any stretch of the imagination and the only season he's reliable is because he never stops throwing up shots, even ones he can't make.
Take those shots and put them in the hands of an efficient scorer (RJ for example) and not only do you have the points Carter scores but you will have shots left over for Krstic, Kidd, and the rest of the Nets players.

Mr. Bold doesn't really want for VC to get injured. He simply wanted to say that if vince wasn't on this team the offense would greatly suffer and some posters fail to realize that. So if vince did go down, missed some significant number of games and Nets would suddenly have hard times scoring and winning then maybe Vince would be a litte bit more appreciated. That's it, I guess he just couldn't express himself better.
Laughable, and this is where I can understand Mr Bold's frustration. Why not make RJ the focal point of the offense and see how efficient he will be? Vince was never a high percentage shooter, but he is still one of the premier guards in the league, and one of the few players in the league that an offense can be centered around.
