Briefly, JWill sat out with a bruised hip. The Bulls started Crawford, Richardson, Hassell, Chandler and Curry. Everyone played well. Mason was extremely aggressive defensively and Baxter played like a beast inside. Fizer ran through all the drills but didn't participate in the scrimmage. Chandler looks bigger and stronger through the shoulders and Curry's arms are developing into a real set of guns. BTW, any babyfat Eddy was carrying when he graduated last year is now all gone. The boy's rock solid.

HJ,

Thanks for the update. I always enjoy your posts.

Couple of quick questions:

1) Did they run the triangle?
2) were they against reasonable competition (was anyone putting up a decent showing or was it Ming vs the midgetmaen?)
3) What about Baxter showed he was a beast?

4) Having suffered through the past few seasons - Did we win? LOL. I'm kidding.

1. Mostly, they just ran.

2. Lets put it this way. On one occasion Eddy tried to flip in a shot and had it blocked by his opponent. On the next three trips down the floor, Eddy asked for the ball, got it and jammed home a thunderous dunk each time.

3. Bax seems to love contact. He's a tough defender and hits the boards well.

4. You shouldn't even have to ask.

You telling me.........I was hoping someone post a link with realiable source about the results of the game so I kinda take their word a gain of salt. Yeah I heard about what tribune say but it also doesn't mean we won too. Oh well its only a scrimmage.

Guys -- it was a scrimmage ... no stats and no score was kept. The game consisted of four 10-minute quarters.

Although no numbers were used, it was very evident that the Bulls kicked their international guests to the curb.

Some triangle was used as well as your typical NBA pick & roll offense. The Bulls ran as much as possible too.

Crawford knocked down a couple of threes and played the point. He had some nice dishes to both Eddy and Tyson down on the block. He still didn't penatrate the lane all that much, but he looked solid offensively, and more importantly, defensively.

No Score was kept??? whats up wid dat?

Hey Guys, this is MY take on the game based solely on posts on this thread:

1. Our #2 pick did not play so its very difficult to tell whats gonna be changed with the offense and defense as of yet.

2. No Jalen Rose, so at any score, our leader was not out there.

3. This WAS a country's team against our baby bulls of last season, so did we REALLY expect to win?? nah, me neither.

4. There were no MAJOR injuries and THAT IS good!!!

Now, I get FOUR good things outta this game without a win or having been there! Thanks for the update HJ.

One note, crawfords inability or unwillingness to drive the lane will, if it continues, cost him any chance of playing point. BC will not put up with it this year, I will bet you on that, not with Jwill in the fold. is this game on friday on television, or has the schedule been changed, again?

on an off topic, as I did not feel like making another post this early before I go to work, I loved reading about Dee KANTER getting the axe!!! you go stu jackson.....!!!

They didn't keep score, but Pete Myers sounded PISSED with their performance.

The Bulls didn't keep score in their closed-to-the-media scrimmage against the Algerian national team Wednesday, but summer-league coach Pete Myers knew the score.

''To be blunt, I wasn't pleased,'' Myers said. ''I thought our starting unit of guys who were here last year took things lightly, especially on the defensive end. And with me, if you're not playing defense, you're not playing. There's a bad taste in my mouth right now.
