The next 4 games will decide if this team is a serious threat for the title. The Nets have tied or won the season series against 18 of the 29 teams in the NBA.

Of the remaining 11 teams:

4 are tied at 1-1 with additional games left to be played. They are Atlanta (2), Boston (2), Chicago (1), and Philly (2).

4 are winning with one game left that could tie the series. Those teams are Minnesota, Detroit, Memphis, Phoenix. That's the Nets next 4 opponents!

3 have won season series. They are San Antonio (0-2), Sacramento (0-2), and Indy (1-2).

If the Nets win the next 4 and beat the teams they are suppose to at least once (Atl, Bos, etc..) then they will have beaten every team in the league once except for the Spurs and Kings and they would have only lost 3 season series. To me that sounds like a team that could beat anybody.

The Nets have tied or won the season series against 20 of the 29 teams in the NBA.

Of the remaining 9 teams:

4 are tied at 1-1 with additional games left to be played. They are Atlanta (2), Boston (2), Chicago (1), and Philly (2).

2 are winning with one game left that could tie the series. Those teams are Memphis and Phoenix. That's the Nets next 2 opponents!

3 have won season series. They are San Antonio (0-2), Sacramento (0-2), and Indy (1-2).

If the Nets win the next 2 and beat the teams they are suppose to at least once (Atl, Bos, etc..) then they will have beaten every team in the league once except for the Spurs and Kings and they would have only lost 3 season series. And Carter missed one Kings game and RJ missed one Spurs game.

It would be nice to beat the Suns at full strength tonight. Prefer our odds if it wasn't the 2nd half of a back to back.

1 are winning with one game left that could tie the series. That team is Memphis. The Nets next opponent.

This team is starting to look elite! Memphis is a very solid team. Detroit was a little fat and lazy with their huge conference lead and Phoenix is not a very balanced team. While winning those games goes a long way in the eyes of the critics and journalists, beating a hungry team like Memphis will mean a lot to the other teams and coaches in the league.

The Nets have completed 21 season series and their record in those is 7-3-11. In the 8 undecided series they are 4-0-4. They will not lose any of the 4 they are winning. The only incomplete season series that Nets are guaranteed to win is against the Knicks :nah: .

Against the current Eastern conference playoff teams the Nets are 1-1-1 in completed series and 3-0-1 in undecided series. All 3 series they are winning could end in a tie (MIA, CLE, MIL). Against Western Conference teams the Nets are 2-2-4 with all series completed.
