In the hospital: LB Jamie Sharper spent recent days in a hospital for treatment of a staph infection in his knee. Sharper could miss as many as four weeks, Holmgren said.

Not good, hopefully he makes a full recovery and can hit the field soon.

I'm not too worried about Sharper missing games. The youngsters in the linebacking core have looked solid and are making plays, especially Lofa and Leroy. If Lofa keeps up the good work he should recieve some serious consideration for defensive ROY.
