It is too much arguments now, I'd like to know the poll.

In my opinion:
this season:
1, KG's trade value is equal to 2 almost-superstars, like double wallaces or RJ-VC.

2, KG's value is equal to one of the following + a starter.
Wade, Melo, D-Ho, Okafor, Bosh, Bogut ......

Next summer:
KG's value is less than one of the value of Wade, Melo, D-HO.

Hell yes

it is an absolute injustice the quality of players the Wolves have put around him for ALL of his career...it is despicable and pathetic

That man deserves better

That has absolutely nothing to do with the question. It doesn't matter what he deserves, the only thing that matters is what is best for the team. And as far as that, it makes absolutely no sense to trade him.

I do not like either one of the two choices in the poll. Even if the T-Wolves do not make the playoffs, that is not a good enough reason to trade KG. I sure as heck would not trade him away.

Why is the "yes" option winning this poll 7-2 right now? Do people really think it would help Minnesota's future to take one of the top two players in the NBA, who happens to be in his prime, and trade him for a bunch of question marks?

They should trade him but they wont, really they need to trade him for something KG needs to do, not the twolves.

The difference was that the Lakers were forced to trade Shaq and they had limited options on where to trade him. The Timberwolves don't have to trade KG, so if they do trade him it will be for a lot of talent.

If they got multiple players adding up to equal talent, it wouldn't be that much of a setback either, because it's not like they ever built a team with chemistry around KG. It would be hard to find a combination of players that can be traded for Garnett though. I think they could trade for a superstar and a young player with superstar potential. For example, Amare Stoudamire and T.J. Ford (even though they aren't on the same team), plus a few more solid starters/role players, including at least one above-average player with the potential for a breakout All-Star season (a la Larry Hughes last season.)
