According to Insider:

...calls him the #5 center prospect for 2005...he's a 7'0, 240lb sophomore from Chicago St...avgd 12ppg, 8.6rpg, 2.5rpg this season...has only played ball 3 years, but scouts impressed w/ learning curve...says he has great athleticism, good hands, shotblocking skills, good footwork (former soccer player)...raw offensively, but has reportedly shown great improvement...aggressive on D, but gets in foul trouble...working out w/ Tim Grover, will reportedly enter draft...

After reading this, the first thoughts that popped into my mind were Steven Hunter and DJ Mbenga.

Anyone seen this guy play?

This guy stinks...he got dominated by UCLA's crappy bigmen and fouled out in like 10 minutes. He doesn't move so well. Did Chad Ford "discover" him? If so, it's Ford being a moron as per usual. This is a joke. DJ Mbenga looks as skilled and graceful as Hakeem next to this scrub. Trust me, if Ryan Hollins and Michael Fey can walk all over a guy, he's not a NBA prospect. I'm sure some team would use a late 2nd on him, but I don't see him ever becoming a basketball player. He can jump, but it does him no good because his timing sucks. He rebounded and shotblocked well against liliputian competition. There are far more interesting prospects around. Also he doesn't look 7-0, he's shorter than Ryan Hollins, who's about 6-11... Martin Iti ring a bell anyone. This time last year he was getting Insider's hype, then he measured in at 6-8 and wasn't impressive as a player... It would be something to see this guy prove me wrong, but at best this guy isn't as good as Mamdou N'Diaye, who shouldn't even be in the league.
