I know he probably has but that shot tonight, after his heroics against Portland was fantastic, reallyproved what a big time player he has been in the playoffs throughout his career. Gotta feel for the Kings who denied both Kobe and Shaq as time ticked down.

Thought Bibby was good, but the defensive pressure from Bryant in the second hal was wonderful. Bibby was still relatively effective, but was made to work very hard.

Aside from tipping the ball to Horry for the game winner, Vlade played exceptionally well.

Most of the time, he hits big-time threes late in the game or overtime, but I can only remeber two game-winners...the one against Portland and the one today.

This is also the first one I can recall when the clock ran out.

Man I miss Horry. I hope he comes back to Houston where he belongs.

I have yet to see Horry choke in a clutch situation. He did it in Houston and now he is doing it in LA. Last year he hit the big three in Game 3 of the finals to seal the win for the LAkers. To go even further he hit a huge three in game 3 of the 1995 finals (w/ the rockets) to seal the win. He just steps up when its needed. Its a shame though to see the lakers use him as they do. When he was in houston he was a slashing leaping blocking small forward who did it all. He bulked up to play pf for them and has lost some of that quickness that led him to have the finals record for most steals in a game and the atlethicness that we all loved in Houston.

Welcome The_Yoyo! It's good to see a Rockets fan who remembers those championship teams with some clarity. I remember Otis Thorpe being a more than capable power forward and Horry filling in at backing up Mario at small forward and also backing up Otis in '94. That team shocked everybody when they won it that year. I can remember so many who thought they had no chance against the Knicks.

Yeah I happen to be a Knicks fan and I remember that series. Both teams were very similiar in terms of their talent of players for each position. Hakeem Thorpe Horry Maxwell Smith Elie vs Ewing Oakley Mason Starks Harper, both teams played rough D on each other and it was a very physical, close, and hard fought series. I wish the NBA these days was like how it was back then, where the East and West had good teams on both sides.....and FINAL SERIES were actually CLOSE.:(

Horry did miss a three that would have won the game against Portland the last time they played in the regular season...but his is still the most clutch three point shooter in the NBA

GO LAKERS
