Speedy Claxton?

Speedy is a free agent this offseason and I think that he would be a good combination with calderon at pg. Obviously Mike James is amazing but he also on older player and giving him anything substantial to stay could stand in the way of the raps adding some players for the future. What do you think?

He Could Be A Good Back-Up For Mike James.. Hes One Of Those True Point Guards, Pass First Kind Of Players!

But I Don't Think The Hornets Are Gonna Let Him Go..

I don't know. If BC likes his talent, and thinks he can stay healthy, maybe Speedy is a guy that BC hopes can run an uptempo game. I don't know. Certainly if that is the case, Speedy would find a starting job + starter cash better than backup cash and PT
i like speedy a lot! though i don't like his Offensive game. but he IS a true PG
At least someone else finally latched onto this idea...

rather him than Mike James
I think the Hornets will be looking to re-sign Claxton this offseason. They really like him as their backup and they play a lot of 2 PG ball. Unless someone offers him a lot of money, I think he'll be a Hornet again next season.
I may be the only one, but I'd be really happy with a healthy Jose running the point next year. He looked really good at the start of the year, regardless of what our record was at the time.
