While the team concentrated on the here and now, Nets brass has begun plotting several summer strategies.
"It's not too early. We have numerous plans and options all over the place and when the season ends, we'll start to narrow them down," said GM Ed Stefanski. "One of our issues will be depth. There are a few spots we'll have and size is definitely one of the issues we have to address."
A better draft pick comes with the lottery but given a choice, Stefanski prefers a playoff spot.
"A large portion of my job duty is looking for talent, so the better draft pick that you have, the easier it is," Stefanski said. "But I want to make the playoffs. I want to win every game."
