The mock draft contest turned out great, so I'm taking the initiative and starting another contest.

(I know most of you think this is way to early for one of these, but I'm just announcing it early so maybe I can get a few more contestants this time) ;)

Basically the contest goes like this. Anyone who wants to be a particapant, post your full regular season predictions on this board or email them to me at [email protected] -- At the end of the season, I'll compare the results to everyone's predicitons, and you get a point for each "win" you are off for each team, and the person with the least amount of points at the end of the season, wins bragging rights and all of the goods that comes with winning a contest.

Obviously we have a long time to go before the season starts, so i'm not expecting any for a while.

I'll probably post this message again in a couple of months or so to remind everyone. Thanks! :)

How about this

It's too hard to guess every teams wins and losses for an 82 game season. There has to be a certain number of wins and losses combined by all of the teams in the regular season.

So, here's my idea:

Pick 3 teams that were in the lottery...guess their wins and losses, and you'll calculate how many "wins" they are off by total. The player with the least amount of points wins.

It's not as hard for you, and easier on the people who enter.

Yeah, 5 would be better. I think that they should be lottery teams because you can pretty much predict what teams like the Lakers, Kings and Mavs records will be. Although teams like the Bulls and Rockets could make large improvements from their records last year.

Definitly, i totally agree, i was also thinking as an add-on, we could have the contestants predict the ROY winner to get a bonus or something.
