Part of that goes to the way the team was put together, part of it goes to expensive players not performing and part of it goes to coaching. First-year coach Terry Stotts has taken a lot of heat, and deservedly so Sunday for as dead as the Bucks looked in going through the motions of their fourth consecutive loss, but at least give him this:

Though it was late in coming, Stotts finally sat T.J. Ford from the start in favor of the harder-working Charlie Bell. Maybe the move had the desired effect in that Ford was very good and very energetic off the bench with 19 points, but he was all the Bucks had against Jason Kidd's typical triple-double and an outfit like New Jersey that has managed to mold its pieces into the epitome of a team.
