SJU finishing in last place in the Charleston Classic is just not acceptable. You have to effing beat Towson on a neutral court. If you can beat Bradley and UConn, you should be able to beat Towson. Losing to Florida and Missouri State is no shame -- those are darn good teams. But Towson's gotta be put in the back pocket.

You have to cut St. Joe's some slack. They are in rebuild mode, and many expect them to battle GW, and Fordham for the cellar. Them winning at UConn was totally unexpected, and a gift to the league.

This season is not a rebuild for the Hawks, it's a teardown. If Lange starts putting a foundation in place, he's going to be putting it in place next season. The only longterm building blocks we have right now is Rahmir Moore and transfer redshirt Greg Foster, Jr., and maybe Cameron Brown will develop into a useful role plalyer. Daly won't be around long enough for a turnaround. Everyone is else is a help us tread water guy.

Was in Charleston to watch the final. Got a chance to talk with the Hawk's Greg Smith's dad. Interesting guy. Played for Raftery at Seton Hall in the last '70's and maybe 1980.
