Let’s go Explorers and Spiders!
Don't know why I care but I have a question.....yesterday you were rooting for Dayton although you were tied with them in the standings. Today you are wanting Richmond instead of Fordham. I understand the second part but I did not understand yesterday. Why did you not root for Bona?

Before yesterday’s game, the Bonnies were a pretender for the top four. Now they are top 4. I root against the pretenders to try to hold onto the Billikens diminishing chances to capture a double bye.

Richmond manned up late unlike our other opponents. Well done. Refs did suck especially when DQ got tackled in the second half but not enough that is the reason we lost. On to Wednesday still like where we are.

It is the land of hardos. Richmond down 11 with 10 minutes left played great defense drove the ball hard to the basket. Slu and Bonnies wilted late under our pressure. Grace from Richmond said in the post game we punked SLU, bit strong but the idea is accurate. Mooney good call with that token pressure as we failed to attack after breaking it. Shooting 50% from three and being allowed to tackle our leading scorer did not hurt either.

On to Wednesday can’t lose to a depleted UMASS team at home if we want to keep our momentum. No issue losing yesterday on the road but need to take care of business at home.

I think we surprised a few teams with our physicality and intensity. That won't happen as much anymore and certainly won't happen when we play some teams for a second time. I think we are fortunate that most of rematch games are at home, as they will be tough games.

You certainly surprised the Billikens. Our only Re-match with you would come in the tournament though. If we do meet you then we better make some serious adjustments.
