The Phoenix Suns won the first overall pick in Tuesday's NBA draft lottery, but they don't yet know who they will take with the top selection.

Jonathan Givony of reported the team is split between Arizona center Deandre Ayton and Slovenian guard Luka Doncic:
Phoenix stands pat at #1. Big decision coming from them. Hearing Ayton is not a done deal there by any means. They've liked Doncic all year. Ayton is our favorite to go #1 right now, but there will be a process that needs to play out there.

However, Suns general manager Ryan McDonough said the team is "unlikely" to trade the pick, according to Gerald Bourguet of Hoops Habit. McDonough added it would require an established, young star with time left on his contract to cause Phoenix to part with the No. 1 pick.

While picking first overall is an envious position, it won't be an easy choice for the Suns, as Ayton and Doncic are both potential franchise-changing players. Marvin Bagley III and Jaren Jackson also could be options at No. 1.
