These are some of the 5 most surprising players (positive way) in my eyes this far. Will their numbers continue to thrive? Can they keep it up?

1. TJ Ford - Averaging about 16 PPG, 10 APG after being out for an entire year - some people thought his career would be done.

2. Maurice Williams - Averaging close to 20 PPG in under 30 minutes, he's been a scoring machine so far this season.

3. Mehmet Okur - Getting around 20 PPG so far, who woulda thought?

4. Darius Miles - Getting almost 22 PPG...WHAT?? Did he finally wake up after all these years?

5. Michael Redd - Shooting over 50% in FG% AND 3-point %...not to mention averaging about 29 points per game thus far.

Some of the Top 5 most disappointing players thus far. Will the get their motor going and get back in the groove?

1. Mike Dunleavy - Signs a 45$ million contract extension, but is shooting horribly (less than 25% so far).

2. Vladimir Radmanovich - Whining about playing time after declining a $42 million contract, he has been given a lot fewer minutes and his production has decreased. He's averaging only 7 PPG, far off from his career marks.

3. Luke Ridnour - His expected breakout year has been a bust so far. He hasn't made any shots, he's been turning the ball over, and even journeymen Mateen Cleaves is stealing some of his time.

4. Jerome James - $30 million richer: 1/3 the playing time, 1/3 the points.

5. Manu Ginobili - After arising to near superstar status last year in the playoffs, many people putting him in the top 5 SG category, he's been awful this year. He's shooting barely above 30%, and is averaging only 11 points per contest.

Okur: 22.6 pgg, 10.0 rpg (and 26 and 11.7 in the 6 games he's played over 15 minues)
Tony Parker: 22.7, 3.4 and 5.9

Ginobili has been hurt, to be fair. It's not really indicative to say he has declined. He just hasn;t started well.

I don't think anyone really expected much for Jerome James or really cares if he does well or not. Except may Sonics/Knicks fans. Although, Sonics fans have a lot more to worry about with the way they've played so far that is.

Jamal Crawford is having a disappointing season so far, but this is merely par for the course.

Yea, Lebron hasn't been spectacular or anything, but I wouldn't label him "disappointing".
Even though he hasn't been as you say it "spectacular" he is on par with Kobe and Tracy for scoring per 48 minutes he is only playing 35 minutes per right now. Last year he lead the league in minutes...

Kwame is right about at his career averages. What is "surprising" about his play?
