Teammates support Favre, even after his rough game
By Dylan B. Tomlinson

PHILADELPHIA — After Sunday’s 19-14 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre took solace with some food.

Favre stood at his locker at Lincoln Financial Field eating a hot dog. Whenever a teammate walked past him, Favre turned into a team mother of sorts, making sure all of his teammates got fed.

Favre gave a hot dog to quarterback Craig Nall. He gave some crabcakes to tight end David Martin. He even split a cheesesteak sandwich with fullback William Henderson.

Favre had hoped it would have been a celebratory feast, but after another tough loss, Favre had to do something to take his mind off what had happened on the field, even for a brief moment.

“Look at him,” Martin said. “We’re all worried about him, and the only thing he cares about is feeding us and cheering us up.”
