Who knew a Paladin was a purple knight?
Those of us who are really into Medieval and fantasy literature…
I’d usually be thrilled to see that diaper load Fran McCaffery knocked out, but this one comes at the hands of a 99th percentile scum coach.
Funny how VCU fans complained about scheduling teams like Kennesaw State. Coach Martelli knows what he is doing even though the NET disagreed.
Well, we have an idea why the NET disagrees.

Good half for Kennesaw. It made me miss Schmidt’s 1-3-1 zone. Why the hell did he ever go away from that?
Considering most of her new additions fizzling, the bizarre relocation of league HQ to Newport News, VA, of all places, and our ABYSMAL social media interaction metrics (among the two or three worst in D1), we might benefit by moving on from Bernadette.

Expect the P5 to petition the NCAA to not allow mid-major programs into the Dance. In the last two years St. Peters, FDU and Princeton have 5 tourney wins. In contrast Rutgers and Seton Hall have 2 wins in 18 years.
Contrasting this notion, could we expect CBS to tell the P5 to eat shit? The word of mouth and viewership explodes when upsets happen.

I think the first thing the p5 does is get rid of the automatic bids for ncaa tournament. Keep automatic bids for the NIT.
To compromise, why not just expand the field to 72 and make the 15s and 16s play in at their regional sites? It would open up a handful more at-large bids without watering down the field too much.

I really do believe CBS (or any network) would push back against screwing too much with the men’s basketball tournament. It’s such a massive cash cow, and they wouldn’t be getting the same national interest or discussion if the 15 and 16 seeds are schools like “Nebraska” or “Mississippi” playing the top seeds. We see those boring ass matchups all season.

I feel like we've had this discussion before. I like where BR is headed but I'd rather go to rewarding the conference champs and adding AL's that all have a play-in game.

32 conference champs and 16 AL's get a bye to Rd64. 32 AL's play T/W to make the Rd64. 80 team tourney. With how many 15/16 have been making waves, I can't see eliminating half of them prior to Rd64. Eliminate the Gigantic State U's who went 7-11 in conference and have 17-13 records.
I get that, but once you get a bid, you’ve earned your reward. You’re in the dance. The play-in games should be made up of the lowest ranked teams, regardless of conference affiliation, based upon a publicly established system of team evaluation. Also, a lot of the really small leagues (MEAC, SWAC, NEC, etc.) don’t mind the play-in, as the NCAA unit cash is the same, regardless of round. Those leagues want cash, and most years, they can’t rely on FDU stunners to get more than one unit.

Basically, I guess I’m saying I can’t grasp teams with inferior resumes/rankings/seeds getting byes into a round ahead of teams seeded 4-5 lines better.
To get back on topic, let’s re-establish that Danny “The Pageant Mom” Hurley is a total BITCH.

He and his brother. Whiny, demonstrative babies with an entitlement complex. The question.. if you had to take a Hurley or Fran McCaffery... hmm.
I loathe Hurley more. With McCaffery, I can’t stand his act, but think he’d actually throw down with someone when he’s in that Hulk anger mode. With Hurley, it’s so c***y and phony and demonstratively premeditated. He’s a goddamn Shakespearean comedy character portrayed by a small town community theater thespian.

Maybe so, but his point is Fran would at least throw down. Hurleys are like the bitches that baby slap, run backwards, and scream "hold me back bro". A women's BB fight, lol.
Exactly.
I find myself wanting Kansas State to win this game. I love their 5'8 point and their coach seems like a nice guy.
Plus, FAU isn’t a truly embraceable underdog. It’s the type of school that aspires to be a cutthroat P5 football type, but just can’t due to lack of fans, cash, history, etc.

Ok, so therefore root for the actual P5 program. Makes sense.
I’m not rooting for either. I wanted both teams to be poisoned.

Heaven and earth… Hurley is SUCH an insufferable dick head (and he’s gonna win a national title). It’s like he rehearses those pouty facial expressions and gestures. ROT IN HELL, PAGEANT MOM!!!

I think FAU was a better team than SDSU but SDSU has a better chance to beat UConn. And thats not very high. Fuck DH but damn they look good.
Yep. They look pretty much unstoppable.

That said, I hope Pageant Mom has really bad acid reflux tonight.

Is it possible to pull a Tyrion Lannister and demand a trial by combat tonight? I’m thinking Kawhi Leonard vs. Pageant Mom. Bare fists to the death.
Yep. He could be the nicest guy in the world, but his stunningly bitchy facial expressions and demonstrative gestures make him a good candidate for a good, old fashioned hanging, drawing, and quartering—William Wallace style.
