Yep. I wonder how FDU would have fared in the A-10 this year? 14th?
Maybe so but every year we see some minor conference team become a Cinderella, and you have to ask why never the A10?

Whether it was a Loyola, St. Peter's, FDU, they're making splashes and we just get our teams in and lose chalk.

Jay Bilas who I don’t often agree with said this morning that Purdue sucked yesterday. And they did on a monumental scale coaching and their guards were atrocious. Even if they were merely incompetent they win that game. FDU played perfect game and Purdue played at an F———- level.

Maybe there's a curse? George Mason and VCU made the FF from the CAA.
I think only Dayton has made the S16 (and E8) since 2011.
No curse. Just gotta play better. Don't forget La Salle's run.

Xavier made it to the second weekend in 2012, Dayton in 2014. None since. Dayton, Joes and Rhody respectively in 15,16, 17 had real close shots at making it to the second weekend but fell short. Since then it hasn’t even been close. 2-8 since 2018 with both second round bow outs coming in ugly form.

I have the same thoughts as Bi. When?

Purdue has been a consistent underachiever in the tourney since the Gene Keady days. I think Keady taught Painter everything he knows.
