ahem... Jalen Rose is a Point Forward, not a Shooting guard, and he will be the mentor and star player which you speak of. (although he may be moved to SG if he is played along side ERob, that doesn't change the fact that he's a SF)

Randy Moss had character issues before being drafted, and obviously they are still an issue. Neither Chandler nor Curry fit such a characterization. Hassell, and JC are also good people.

Bill Cartwright is also a no nonsense type of coach. He'll keep his solders in line, and you can count of that. He did an admirable job managing the disruptive Oakley at the end of the season. I don't see our youth going bad under his careful watch.

Point Forward is a term coined for players who are natural 3's but display the playmaking ability more often seen in Point Guards. Rose is often refered to as a Point Forward, I'm not just making stuff up. (can someone please back me up on this?)

Rose is, and has always been a SF. If he plays SG he's out of his natural position, and he's never been played by Cartwright as a Point Guard. Not that I can remember at least.
