The Lakers just moved to the 7th seed?

I was just checking the standings at www.nba.com
And I saw that the Lakers are now in the 7th seed.

What gives?
Does anyone actually know how the standings work?

I know that the Sacrm lost today, but I didn't know we will jump up to the 7th seed today.

Anyways, if that is so, that is a sign of good news today, and hopefully cheer some ppl up considering that we had a stupid and unfair lose because of the refs today.

They have an identical .500 record... Kings being 33-33 and the Lakers being 34-34....

Kings also lead season series 2-1 with 1 game to be played this week.

Thats good news.
Hope the Lakers can keep this spot...
I hate doin this but at least Sacramento and Utah lost.. We do have more losses than NO though..
eh who cares lakers are going to lose to the celtics than lose a big one at home to the kings and next thing you'll know the lakers are trailing all three teams
Way to have confidence in them...
14 more games to go for Lakers.......from the standings now, nobody could tell who could keep the 6th, 7th, and the 8th seats until there are only 3 or 4 games left.
