when i went to turkey 2 winter breaks ago to celebrate new years, they were showing 2 NBA games a week and BOTH were Nets games! I was so happy! ;)

when i was in poland last summer i didn't hear much about the nets. the only person who i really spoke to about basketball, though, is my cousin and he did hear of the nets. i found out that my cousin is a HUGE i\/erson fan though.

and unfortunately, i wasn't exposed to any tele\/ision (or almost any media for that matter) when i was in italy, so i don't know how popular they are down there either.

And you KNOW one of the Nets picks this year will be an international player.

2000 draft - one college senior and one Malian.

2001 draft - one college senior, three college juniors.

2002 draft - one Serbian and one college senior.

2003 draft - one Croatian and one college junior [chosen for Philly].

2004 draft - one Russian [chosen for Portland] and one Dane.

If we miss out on the playoffs, I'm hoping for a pick high enough to grab Splitter.
